Root 52 Update By Cindy Jacobs, USRPN
 Dear Intercessors,
After
some time of seeking the Lord for continued direction and focus for the
United States Reformation Prayer Network (USRPN) as we enter the New
Year, I was contacted by Vicki Nohrden, the USRPN Apostolic Prayer
Coordinator for the State of California. Vicki shared that she has been
given by the Lord a prayer strategy for the USRPN. We have built upon
what Vicki shared with us to develop what is now the Root 52 National Prayer Strategy. This prayer strategy is simple, and yet, could be a highly effective strategy to implement as a united front for our nation.
I strongly believe that this strategy has been given to counter attack
what the enemy is trying to do in dividing the nation, the church, the
family, etc.
The
first two weeks will be a special concerted time of prayer for the
governmental leadership of the nation and then we will go state by
state in the order that they joined the Union. By the end of the year,
we will see all 50 states have a covenantal root established or deepened as we build a highway of prayer across the nation from state to state.
Part of the strategy is to make proclamations from the Preambles of
State constitutions. For the first two weeks, and throughout the year,
let us also pray over and make decrees from the Preamble to the United
States Constitution and the United States Constitution itself. We also
need to "declare" from the Declaration of Independence and pledge our
nation to be "one nation under God".
As all of us have watched the deterioration of our nation concerning
biblical rights being stripped from our society, it should be a matter for alarm and a wake-up call to pray for the nation more than we have ever done in the past.
I have heard two distinct prophetic words for 2010-they are "Win in 2010" and "Arise and Shine America".
We have lost a number of skirmishes concerning the nation in 2009 but
we are going to win in 2010! Our decree should be that America will be
that city set on a hill that the reformers who came to our shores
dreamed we would be. We must not back down one inch or give any
ground-rather, let us draw a line in the sand and say to the enemy with
a loud decree--Your time of advancement is over!
Let us stand together in a greater measure than we have ever done in
the past-shoulder to shoulder in the battle for this nation until we
see the Great Awakening and Reformation back to biblical worldview that we have all dreamed would happen in our generation.

 "ROOT 52"
USRPN National Prayer StrategyWe
are calling this initiative "ROOT 52" because it is a 52-week prayer
strategy to bring the nation back to it's covenantal roots. A torch of
prayer and fasting will go "en-route" from state-to-state in the
sequence that they joined the Union and came to form the United States of America.
The
strategy for ROOT 52 encompasses all 50 states standing together in
covenant both to fast and pray in agreement during the first two weeks
of 2010 for our national leadership and national governmental
structure. We will then move forward each week with individual states
continuing to bow in repentance before God and taking up the torch of
prayer and fasting until we complete 52 weeks, equaling 1 year. (50
states plus 2 weeks for government leadership).
The first week
of the year begins corporately with all 50 states mobilized and joined
together in prayer and fasting for our nation's leadership in the White
House:
- President
Barrack Obama and Vice President Biden, their wives and families, the
Cabinet members, as well as the many Czars, as they are part of the
whole (team). (See List of White House Czars and Cabinet Members)
The second week we would continue to pray and fast corporately for the Judicial, Legislative and Executive branches of our government. (See Current Supreme Court Members)
During these first two weeks, we are to pray over and make decrees from
the Preamble to the United States Constitution and the United States
Constitution itself. We also need to "declare" from the Declaration of
Independence and pledge our nation to be "one nation under God". (See ROOT 52 National Proclamation, US Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and Pledge of Allegiance)
The third week would
begin with the state of Delaware--the first state that entered the
Union--taking its place to stand in the gap to fast and pray
corporately within their state for seven days. During this week of
prayer and fasting, there will be a focus on their government
leadership, seven gates or mountains, founding documents, prophetic
words, and covenantal roots. (See Preambles to State Constitutions)
- Government leadership could be broken down by county, city, precinct, etc.
- The seven gates or mountains will be covered by targeting a specific gate each day of the week (7 days/7 gates), according to the following schedule:
- Monday: Business
- Tuesday: Government
- Wednesday: Education
- Thursday: Media
- Friday: Arts & Entertainment
- Saturday: Family
- Sunday: Religion/Church
- Pull up former prophetic words
to war with and decree as a corporate cry of repentance to call it back
into covenant alignment; seeking the ancient paths of righteousness
with God's intended purpose. (See Prophetic Words on Covenant Roots, and reference Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation by Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets, which provides spiritual mapping and prophetic words for each state)
- Reference founding documents
of statehood such as the preamble to your state constitution for
prayer. All 50 states should be covered with deliberate corporate
decrees and declarations. (See Preambles to State Constitutions)
- Research your state's covenant roots. As Chuck Pierce was shown by the Lord, some states have a covenant root of
our founding fathers. If there's not one, the state will contend for
one and war to pull down, tear down, and uproot, and seek the Lord to
plant and to build a new structure spiritually in that state. (See Prophetic Words on Covenant Roots by Chuck Pierce).

Pray Jeremiah 1:10 that God will uproot and expose as well as build and plant.

Pray that any terrorist funding, and jihadist plots be uncovered
- We are encouraging churches, prayer leaders, houses of prayer, ministries throughout each state could unite as a corporate cry throughout their designated week.
- We also recommend that each State begin their designated week with prayer and worship rallies focused on a time of repentance.
The fourth week will be led by the state of Pennsylvania; the second state to enter the union.
Each state in the union will do the same and we will continue to pass
the torch of prayer and fasting from state to state in the sequence that they came to form the United States of America until we complete the entire year. The pattern will continue in like manner that it was originally covenanted. (See 50 State Weekly Prayer Calendar and States in the Union Graph)
In Hebrew, the United States is translated Artzot Ha-Brit, which means "lands of covenant".
If we will covenant together as the body of Christ, we have an
opportunity to turn this battle at the gates. As the United States of
America, we've all heard the motto, "united we stand and divided we
fall." We believe that as the call goes out and the praying church
arises, uniting in heart and purpose, that we will stand strong. As a
result, we will see the walls of deception, seduction, lies and
rhetoric come down like those of Jericho. Something needs to change and
I we trust you agree. We know the Lord is faithful and he has a plan
for good and not for evil; to give us a hope and a future and an
expected end.
We see a remnant arising. There is a triumphant reserve. There are those who recognize it is no longer "business as usual" and
the grass roots movement is feeling the wind of resurrection blowing.
If we will take our place in repentance, bowing low before God in
humility with fervent prayer and fasting, seeking God's face and his
heart towards our nation, we believe that united with God and one
another, a nation can be shifted.
Babylon and Egypt were both built with bricks but His building program
is building with living stones. Apostle Dutch Sheets said that its time to altar a nation.
Elijah, led by the spirit of God, rebuilt the altar that had been torn
down in the nation through the seduction, control, intimidation, lies
and unrighteous political alignment with Jezebel--a covenant breaking
spirit. Even as Elijah used twelve stones to rebuild the altar of God,
representing the 12 tribes, we too can stand on the principle that we
have 50 stones/states as an offering to build and to re-altar this
nation and turn it back to God.
Let's bow together. Let's war together. Help save the soul of our nation.

Earlier this week as our Intercessory Team convened for an "Awake Georgia Conference Prayer Call", the Holy Spirit highlighted this passage out of Numbers 10 related to the "sounding of the silver trumpets." We sensed the Lord admonishing us to declare over the state that the SOUND TO ASSEMBLE and the SOUND TO BEGIN THE NEXT JOURNEY to ADVANCE THE KINGDOM would be heard across the State and even across the Region.
The Lord gave these instructions to the Children of Israel - to His covenant people, therefore to us who have been grafted in by faith - "as an ordinance forever throughout your generations." It was the Lord's provision of leadership to the Nation. There were times when the sound was only to leaders. Other times for the entire assembly. It was necessary for the sound of the trumpet to be understood and properly responded to by all. It was God's way of speaking to the collective assembly so that together they would do what He was speaking . . . A sound is coming forth out of heaven by the Spirit of the Lord calling out to the people of God, "Wake up! Stir yourself from your slumber. Rise up and stand in the strength that I have given you. Shake loose from all that is holding you back. You have not realized it, but those things that have held you bound are fragile and not strong as you have supposed. Do you not know that I am here? I am near to all who will call upon My name….even before you call upon Me, I am here. Receive My Spirit anew to quicken your spirit with fresh life and empowerment, for now is the time and this is the season that I desire to send you forth to release joy as you declare and demonstrate the glorious gospel of My Kingdom." God is indeed stirring a new move of His Holy Spirit in the world today, and it is one where He is pressing in for His intended purposes through all His disciples to be fulfilled. The days of only a few select individuals doing the work of ministry, and only (or primarily) within the walls of "the church" are over. The message of Gospel of the Kingdom declares that "in Christ" we are a kingdom, and priests unto God" (see Rev 1:6). We have all been called to be His ministers to carry the Gospel of the Kingdom into all the earth - not just bringing the message of salvation, but bringing the culture of the Kingdom of God to bear upon society in tangible ways that will cause people to want to know Christ. |
