"Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps. 3 When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 4 But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you. 5 When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey. 6 When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys. 7 And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance. 8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations. 9 "When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God, and you will be saved from your enemies. 10 Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the LORD your God." Numbers 10:2-10
Earlier this week as our Intercessory Team convened for an "Awake Georgia Conference Prayer Call", the Holy Spirit highlighted this passage out of Numbers 10 related to the "sounding of the silver trumpets." We sensed the Lord admonishing us to declare over the state that the SOUND TO ASSEMBLE and the SOUND TO BEGIN THE NEXT JOURNEY to ADVANCE THE KINGDOM would be heard across the State and even across the Region. The Lord gave these instructions to the Children of Israel - to His covenant people, therefore to us who have been grafted in by faith - "as an ordinance forever throughout your generations." It was the Lord's provision of leadership to the Nation. There were times when the sound was only to leaders. Other times for the entire assembly. It was necessary for the sound of the trumpet to be understood and properly responded to by all. It was God's way of speaking to the collective assembly so that together they would do what He was speaking -- whether it was in moving locations during their journey across the wilderness, in going out against their enemy's in times of war, or in gladness and celebration over the appointed feasts, offerings, and sacrifices. When Aaron, the high priests, and the priests blew the silver trumpets the people responded! We believe that Jesus Christ, the Apostle and High Priest of our faith, has called for the sounding of the Silver Trumpets, and some of His appointed priests - apostles and leaders of this time - have joined Him in setting the Silver Trumpet to their lips to RELEASE THE SOUND of the Silver Trumpets across this state. The first trumpet sounds to "gather before the tent of meeting." It is the Blast of the Trumpet calling us to come and hear what the Lord is speaking to us as a people, not just as individuals but as a company of people that are to move and advance according to His order and at His command. The sound is to GATHER TO MEET WITH THE LORD TOGETHER. Secondly, the Blast of the Trumpet was to set those in the EAST and those in the SOUTH to BEGIN THEIR JOURNEY. Isn't it interesting that we are in the SOUTHEAST and that Atlanta is the gateway to the Southeast! Therefore, the Sounding of the Silver Trumpet at this time is for sending us out BEGIN THE NEXT JOURNEY TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM. It is the sound of being the Ekklesia being sent (apostello) out as an apostolic people to bring the Culture of the Kingdom of God into this region. I believe this is a word for the Church in this region that "The time is now - the trumpets are sounding - it is time to assemble and to shift into a new dimension of the apostolic order that the He intended from the beginning and to move forward as One People to advance." Thirdly, there is a sense that the Blast of the Second Silver Trumpet is calling us to prepare for war. It is a sound of alarm to "rally together as the Army of the Lord" and to "heed the voice of the Commander in Chief" and to "hear the council of Lord through the Generals who are coming together here, even as the Joint Chiefs, to release strategies of wisdom and revelation that we might go out in strength for the battles that lie ahead."
Hear the sounding of the Silver Trumpets as a call to awaken to the summoning of the Captain of the Lord's hosts to rise up and come to attention to hear His commands.
Hear the sounding of the Silver Trumpets calling for the Church - the Ekklesia to assemble together to hear the council of the Lord for the days head to align with the purposes of the Lord as His Ekklesia set into position and sent for to bring His Kingdom rule on earth -- in Georgia -- as it is in heaven.
Hear the sounding of the Silver Trumpets signaling for the beginning of the journey required for the days ahead.
Hear the sounding of the Silver Trumpets issuing forth an alarm to prepare for the warfare that lies ahead against the forces of darkness that are set against the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Hear the sounding of the Silver Trumpets. The time in now for the people of the Kingdom - the Ekklesia - to come together as one - to hear as one, to move as one, to obey as one.
A sound is coming forth out of heaven by the Spirit of the Lord calling out to the people of God, "Wake up! Stir yourself from your slumber. Rise up and stand in the strength that I have given you. Shake loose from all that is holding you back. You have not realized it, but those things that have held you bound are fragile and not strong as you have supposed. Do you not know that I am here? I am near to all who will call upon My name….even before you call upon Me, I am here. Receive My Spirit anew to quicken your spirit with fresh life and empowerment, for now is the time and this is the season that I desire to send you forth to release joy as you declare and demonstrate the glorious gospel of My Kingdom." God is indeed stirring a new move of His Holy Spirit in the world today, and it is one where He is pressing in for His intended purposes through all His disciples to be fulfilled. The days of only a few select individuals doing the work of ministry, and only (or primarily) within the walls of "the church" are over. The message of Gospel of the Kingdom declares that "in Christ" we are a kingdom, and priests unto God" (see Rev 1:6). We have all been called to be His ministers to carry the Gospel of the Kingdom into all the earth - not just bringing the message of salvation, but bringing the culture of the Kingdom of God to bear upon society in tangible ways that will cause people to want to know Christ. In the book of Nehemiah 4, we clearly see a picture of God's desire for us to listen and respond to the sound of the trumpet call to rally to the aid of our brothers and sisters who are building other portions of the wall around our state.
Such a sound has come from the SE Region of Georgia, specifically for Brantley County.
The following information has been developed for our use as we rally to fight with them through intercession against the schemes of the enemy that would seek to bring further division, hatred, racism, bigotry, violence and bloodshed into the region and state. |
