Women in the Workplace Convocation
January 23-24, 2007

The Lydia Company is a peer level group of marketplace women coming together for an historic convocation, “Women in the Workplace.”  Our purpose is to collaborate together toward more effectively influencing the transformation of culture.

God is transitioning women in the workplace from old religious structures to new levels of understanding, alignment, and authority.  In The Lydia Company, working Christian women will find the beginning of a supportive national constituency.

Addressing the confusion about the role of workingwomen in the church, Linda Rios Brook will challenge westernized commentary regarding what Scripture and history reveal about the influence and role of women in the church and in commerce. 

On the evening of Wednesday, January 23rd, small”Dine & Discover” affinity groups will be getting together for dinner. You will have opportunity to join the discussion of the professional issues important to you.  (Dinner cost not included in registration.)

Thursday, January 24th will be a full day of equipping from women marketplace leaders from around the country.

Plan to attend Reclaiming the 7 Mountains Conference immediately following the Women in the Workplace Convocation.   Os Hillman, founder of Marketplace Leaders, has assembled a power-packed conference to help prepare us to “take our mountain” to influence society and reap a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God.  A number of The Lydia Company will be participating in this conference as workshop speakers, including Linda Rios Brook.
