Its Time To Arise

Its Time to Arise
by Jacquie Tyre

"Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
"For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the LORD will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
"Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
"Lift up your eyes round about and see;
They all gather together, they come to you
Your sons will come from afar,
And your daughters will be carried in the arms.
"Then you will see and be radiant,
And your heart will thrill and rejoice
Isaiah 60:1-5a

Without a doubt there is a sense of dichotomy in almost every arena of life these days -- particularly in the lives of most believers. Culturally as a nation, we are facing one of the most challenging times we gave known within recent years.  It is though "life as we have known it" may be a thing of the past, and such a thought can cause a wide range of reactions ranging from utter terror to building excitement for what God is unfolding in the midst of the shifting seasons and encroaching darkness.

The swell of awakening is mounting, not simply as times of refreshing for believers - though we certainly welcome and embrace every touch of Holy Spirit.  The rise of Holy Spirit many of us are sensing carries a momentum and weightiness that has transformation of lives and communities squarely in the sight-lines of the scope.  But, more than that -- this mounting movement has reformation in its DNA.  Nothing less will do.  We don't just need to be awakened for refreshing.  We don't just need to have our behaviors changed for a season.  We must have a reformation of the very systems and structures of our culture.

The passion of an army of reformers is rising n the land.  Reformers who are setting their faces like flint to see the very foundations and structures reformed so that the very ways that we gather, work, govern, create, teach, train, employ, report, play. . . all look more like the Kingdom.  There is an army of reformers coming together in these days that are passionately committed to being vessels through whom the Lord can touch the world in the power of His love, mercy, grace, and truth with signs and wonders following.

The sound of a company of sold-out disciples of the Lord can be heard in the land crying out with increasing passion for Awakening in our day and Reformation in our lifetime.

Can you hear the sound awakening & reformation?  I pray you not only hear the sound, but join your voice to the growing sound of faith rising that sees, says, and does what we see the Father doing, even as Jesus said He did.

This article provides some solid Biblical truths to help us align with God during trying times.
The Lord is rekindling an awakening of the Spirit of Intercession in the Body through the telling of the old, old stories of His displaying the love, mercy, grace and power of Christ throughout the ages. We have entered into a season to "recover" all that has been lost, stolen, or left behind in our families, communities and nations. It is time for a fresh fire to burn within the people of God today with a passionate desperation for the promises of the Lord to come forth in power. Read, rehearse, pray, and share the stories of old believing that our God will yet do it again in our day.
The Lord began to speak about His weaving of a tapestry in these days that will reveal the Glory of the Lord as we come together from various streams in humility to seek His face and do His will. The tapestry He is weaving is glorious. . .
