Releasing the Sound of Awakening in Israel (Ministry Trip)

For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,

It is with great excitement that I am writing today to share with you a wonderful opportunity that has opened up for me to travel to Israel on a Ministry Trip. This is something I have dreamed of for years, but even though I have prayerfully considered going at other times and with various ministries, the release of the Lord never came...until now.
This trip will be March 14-25, 2011 with Living Faith Ministries, led by dear friends, Joe & Vonnie Askins, along with Dutch & Cece Sheets and Robert & Mary Henderson. There will be around 50 people participating in this tour.
Given the relationship that the Lord has developed with these men and women of God over the last several years and the alignment that has developed, it has become clear that this is the right time with the right ministry team for my first trip to Israel. (Mike and I do hope to be able to go together before too long!)
As many others have shared, taking the journey to Israel to see the land of the great patriarchs of our faith and to walk the land where our Lord walked, and worship, pray and fellowship where the Church was birthed will be life-changing on many levels. Briefly, here are a couple of purposes I believe the Lord has given for this trip:
- To journey into deeper union with the Lord,
- To come into stronger alignment with Christ's purposes for this time and season in the advancing His Kingdom, personally and in giving leadership to Kairos Transformation Ministries and CityGate Atlanta;
- To serve as a part of God's design of securing and strengthening the spiritual alignment of our nation with Israel.
- The state of Georgia, as state coordinator for HAPN, USRPN, USAR & NDP;
- The SE States of the US, as I serve as a regional coordinator for AL, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, & TN through the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network; and as
- The SE Coastal States coordinator for the US Reformation Prayer Network.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement for being afforded this opportunity at this time. Looking forward to the future, I am also looking forward to sharing the blessings of this trip with you and our region in the days ahead.
Obviously, a trip of this nature needs a strong base of intercession and financial support.

In trying times it is important that we align - or realign - our words (both spoken and written), our thoughts, and our beliefs to line up with the Word of God. The Lord began to speak about His weaving of a tapestry in these days that will reveal the Glory of the Lord as we come together from various streams in humility to seek His face and do His will. The tapestry He is weaving is glorious. . .
